Tuesday Morning Update

Pastor Bill still has a number of challenges, one of which is "mersa"
which is a staph infection. Pray today that he will also have less secretions for them to suction. The process is hard on his throat and is producing irritation. He also has issues at the trach and IV sites. One bit of good news is that the physical therapist was pleased with his mobility. He is able to move his hands and legs on command, but obviously is very weak.

On yesterday's blog we shared a hymn that was sent to Karen. It has powerful words and the tune for it is "Brethren, We Have Met To Worship." Try it!

Dear Ruth and Family,

Just a brief note to let you know that Pastor Bill and you and your family are in my prayers daily. I do not understand why God is allowing Pastor to go through this illness when he has been a faithful servant for so many years.. However I do know that God is still in control and who am I to doubt His ways. My prayer is thet the Lord will bring heling or usher Pastor into his presence and He knows whichever is best for his servant.

When Delia was taken four years ago next month I felt your love and concern for me and that is what I feel for each of you as you wait on God's will for your husband and dad. Since I am not there to give you a hug will have to ask that you know I would if I could.

With much Christian love,

George Webb

Bill, we never thought to send a message to you now or during Lindsay's illness. Please know in both situations, yours and the Raws, you have been very much in our prayers. We check the blogs each day and are walking with the family in this. Please give them our love. Frank and Cealy Durso

I'm not too good with the computer and I tried to sign in on the blog but I never can tell if it worked or not. I sent one when LIndsay was in the hospital but as I said, I never can tell with this PC whether what I do is right or not.

Please tell Pastor Raws that I pray for him daily and hope that God will ease his pain and suffering according to his will. When I get back on my feet again I would like to do some volunteer work at the Pines. It would be absolutely wonderful if Pastor Raws can be sent there and I would be able to see him and help work with him. That may sound selfish but I do love Pastor very much and he has been a tremendous inspiration to me and I would like to get the chance to see and talk to him again.

Please let the family know that they too are in my prayers, I know how difficult it can be when a loved one is suffering.

I do hope that you and Jan and the rest of your family are holding up as best you can. The loss of Lindsay was horrible for an outsider like me to grasp, I can only imagine what all of you must be going through. Taking one day at a time is the only way to cope but it is so difficult to say the least.

Regards and Love in Christ to All, Darlene Butcher

Faithful - that's the word that pops out to me! Faithful, Pastor Bill - faithful to his God, faithful to his family, faithful to handle carefully the duties set before him as he traverses his way in this world, following faithfully the faith he so evidently embraces. His faithful family - by his side, anticipating, serving, loving, hoping and praying - faithfully. Faithful Keswick staff and friends - supporting, encouraging, and faithfully bearing one another's burdens as well as our own as we face this trial together. And without a doubt, O SO FAITHFUL God - faithful to His promises, faithful to govern all of our every moments and faithfully loving us beyond what we could think or imagine.

Thank your for your faithfulness, dear Pastor, dear family, dear Keswick and friends and we praise you today Father God, for who you are, faithful to your children! We look to you today and continue to wait on you.

With much Love -
Kristin Brown Haynes, also warm wishes from Bob & Karen Brown

Checking in!!
This is one of those times that I wish I lived closer to Keswick. My hearts desire is to be with you during this time...and to be able to assist in some way.

I recently looked at my pictures from last summer's Keswick and I have some good ones of Pastor Bill and Ruth...at my side.

I am still praying....everyday.
