Thursday Afternoon Update

I have been waiting for a more definitive update today on Pastor Bill. They have decided to not wean him from the ventilator today because his breathing rate indicated that he was fighting the ventilator. The doctors are a little puzzled as to why he is breathing so hard being that he is already heavily sedated.

Please pray for wisdom for the doctors and peace for the family during these long days in ICU.

We continue to pray for all of you - I ask the Holy Spirit to intervene and pray on Pastor Bill's behalf as we're not even sure what to pray for at this point. Know that we stand with you through the storm and are thankful that Jesus is in your boat!

Dear Ruth and all of Pastor Bill's family, I just wanted you to know I check the blog several times a day and am so thankful once again to Bill Welte for keeping us all updated on Pastor Bill's condition. My heart goes out to all of you and I pray for the Lord to continue to give you the grace and strength as you wait through these long days by his bedside. The waiting is so hard! Please, dear Lord, be with Ruth and the girls and comfort them as only You can. May they all know your precious peace and may you soon heal and wake Pastor Bill up, whether it be here or THERE. We'll rejoice and give You all the praise either way! Even better, COME, LORD JESUS! and take us all to be with You!! We long for that grand reunion!! With much love, Janet Jaeger

Continuing to pray for all of you-- for the Lord's peace & presence to be continually felt in the day to day when they all seem to run together. Praying for HIS strength to be yours as a family & for Pastor Bill-- for healing and little improvements each and every day. Also, praying for God's hand to guide and direct the Doctors & nurses caring for Pastor Bill & supporting you as you stand by & make decisions regarding his care. Much love from all of us! The children have made more cards & pictures so I will make sure they get to you.

Dear Pastor Bill, Ruth, and Family, We are praying for your healing in the LORD'S way and time for HE knows best. May you be comforted today knowing the promises of our LORD and remember that 2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
