I am writing to ask our Intercessor's family to be praying specifically that God will either intervene by showing evidence of healing of Pastor Bill, or that He will graciously call him home before Ruth and the kids have to make a decisions that are so hard at times like these.
While he has made some progress in being off the ventilator, there appears to be some neurological issues that could be serious. Tomorrow they will be running a battery of tests to determine if there is any neurological dysfunction.
Our prayer is that if the Lord is not going to restore him to somewhat of a "normal" quality of life, that He take him home. None of us think Pastor Bill would be happy in this current condition.
The days are long for Ruth and the girls, and the pressures are mounting the longer his illness continues. I had a precious visit with him last night and felt we had some good eye contact communication as I read Scripture and prayed with him.
I would encourage you to sign on the blog and leave a message for the family. Thanks for praying.

Hi,
Just a note to Ruth & the Girls, we are Praying for Pastor Bill's healing. May the Lord's will be done. As far as Pastor Bill is concerned....it can only get better!!! If the Lord chooses to "Promote him," so be it. The HARD part is for those left behind, even though this will only be a "Temporary Separation." We'll Keep on Praying. May God's will be done...HIS Timing is always best.
With our Love & Prayers,
Jim & Beryl

We in Mexico have just learned of Bill's condition, so we are joining the thousands around the world who are praying for Bill's health. Our trust is in Jehovah who always provides His best for His children. Bill is such a special servant to the Lord. We know His loving arms are around him. Dave and Jean Legters

Dear Mrs Raws and family,
Ellen, Gabrielle and I are praying for the LORD's will to be done in this situation. You all are very special people to us and we stand in the gap for you interceding on Pastor Bill's behalf. The LORD be gracious unto you. May He lift you up in due time. Healing is in store for you and Pastor Bill. Be still and know that He is GOD. We love you all,
Doug, Ellen and Gabie Barger
Dear Ruth,
It was our privilege to see Pastor Bill at the hospital on Saturday, and our joy to see you and Karen last evening at the Colony. We had just finished praying in small groups for you and the family when you walked in. The applause and standing ovation were simply to say "We love you and are standing with you, Pastor Bill, and all of the family as we wait to see God's perfect plan."
In His Mercy,
Glen and Marilyn
Hello to dear Ruth and family. Jim and I are in Texas visiting our daughter and her family and will be here for several more weeks. We have not kept updated on the blog as to Pastor Bill's condition and are very concerned for all of you. Please know that we are praying for you all and we love you. We pray for the peace of God to overwhelm you during this time.
With love and hugs,
Eileen and Jim
I am praying for God to intervene very clearly in this situation in the next few hours. I remember hearing Pastor Bill (in a staff devotional some 30 years ago) talk about "Let go and let God" as a means of finding his will for our lives at any given moment. I'm trusting that for him right now.

Dear Ruth,
In all that you are confronted with God will guide you. When you are pressed into a corner and your decisions are harder to make than any other in your life, God's Holy Spirit will take over and lead you each step of the way. That is how it is with those who have been in God's Word and following in His footsteps all of their lives.
We continue to pray that God will take over and give complete healing if this is in His will for Pastor Bill and you. His will is perfect. We love you.

Greetings Raws Family-
So hard, to read the blog. It is appreciated to know how to pray but unfathomable, the road you currently walk. We pray that soon God would make clear His plan for dear Pastor Bill. Hang in there and somehow cherish at least moments together that are uncharacteristic of the day to day. Indeed we're all praying! Indeed we're all sending warm wishes your way and looking to our all knowing and loving heavenly Father for the grace needed at times like these.
In Him-

Dear Ruth, girls and family,
Know that we are here to stand with you and for you today and the days ahead. May you feel the loving arms of our precious Jesus wrapped around you and our dear Pastor Bill. I so remember the hug Pastor Bill gave me upon returning from NH after Lindsay's homegoing. His long arms around me gave me the sense of "all is well." May you feel the same thing as you move through today. Praying for wisdom, peace and comfort from on high.
With all my love,
Jan (for all the Weltes)
Praying for you!

Pastor Bill and all of you have been on my heart and mind every day and I will continue to pray for God's perfect will for all of you. May God touch you with his healing love.

Dear Raws Family,
We check the blog daily, so we know specifics to pray for, but never leave a note. So, we are leaving this note today, to re-assure you that we have been and will continue to pray. Today, for clarity, grace, and strength.
I (Jane)can hear Pastor Bill's strong voice as he gives the benediction at so many services. A strong voice, yes. Firm convictions and faith, yes. Yet such a gentle, loving, humble man. We will pray for clarity and security in your decisions in the days to come.
Because He Lives,

I ask God that whatever He chooses to do, whether it is to heal Pastor Bill or to call him home, that He will choose quickly. God is suffering along with you. I pray He will be merciful and will make His will known quickly and clearly.

Dear Ruth and Family,
We are Ken & Betty Mick who served on the Keswick staff the summer of 1960 as newly weds. We have remembered you folks in prayer down through the years. And expecially now our hearts go out to you in this difficult time. We recall what a Christian friend of ours expressed a few years ago as he was afflicted with terminal cancer. "I'm in a win-win situation. If I die, I win and will be with Christ. If I live, I win and continue to serve my Lord." You are in the hands of gracious Redeemer. Ken & Betty
Dear Aunt Ruth, jan Judee, Cherri and Karen,
We love each of you and are praying for you and Uncle Bill. We continue to check the blog everyday to hear how things are going and want you to know you are often thought of and prayed for, from the other side of the world.
Is. 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, whose thoughts are fixed on you! (NLT)
Much love, David & Susan
You are in our thoughts and prayer in this hard time.

Pastor Bill and family,
You taught this on this passage 10 years ago when I came through the colony. It has helped me through some difficult times. We continue to pray for comfort for all of you.
You are loved and appreciated.

But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their aheart.
16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is cliberty.
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord

Dear Raws family:
How I thank God for Bill and his wisdom and insight. It has been a privilege to learn under him as a newer member of the PBU Board. I am reminded of the song:
When the valley is deep,
When the mountain is steep,
When the choices are hard
When we're battered and scarred
When we've spent our resources,
When we given our all,
In Jesus name, we press on.
Dear Lord, with the prize Clear before our eyes,
In Jesus' name, we press on.
God bless you all as you press on.May we have the faith to lay claim on the grace of God.
With prayer,
Marge Scanlin
Ruth and family,
I have followed the blogs daily and pray for you and Bill. I had a longer message for you, but it wasn't but on comments. Maybe all I should say is that I love you. God's love for you has been evident all your life and you are sure He will love you always. May you feel that He is wrapping you in His peace.
Your brother, Arthur
Dear Pastor Bill, Ruth, Jan, Judee, Cherri and Karen,
We are praying without ceasing for God to heal your husband and father, our dear friend and brother, having read in Job 12:10 "In whose hand is the soul of every living thing and the breath of all mankind" and also have read where Jesus said "Rise, take up the bed and walk". It may be selfish, but we want Bill to see more of God's goodness in the land of the living.
Our souls ache for you ladies and wish we could be there.
All our love,
Paul & Sharon Kappus
