Sunday Afternoon Update

Pastor Bill is doing a little better off the ventilator and tolerating more time off, however, he does not seem to be as responsive today as he was yesterday. When I (Bill) saw him last evening, he was following me with his eyes and attempting to make some mouth movements.

Cherri said that today he was not responsive which could still be related to sedation issues. We are a long way from being out of the woods for sure.

The family really appreciated the response to yesterday's request for you to write comments. Keep them coming. The encouragement means so much!

Dear Ruth and girls,
Pastor Bill was deeply missed at the Colony this morning. Bill Welte did an excellent job, as usual, and he quoted and/or referred to Pastor Bill often. We will continue to pray for a steady recovery and for added strength for you.
In Him,
Glen and Marilyn

Dear Aunt Ruth, Cherri and all,
We are praying for strength, wisdom and patience for all of you even as we are in Texas, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. God hears requests for Pastor Bill from all around the globe today. We are honored to approach the mighty throne in heaven on your behalf. May God's grace, love and peace surround you today and throughout this coming week. We love you so much.

The Latin for shepherd is "pastor'. In Whiting and esp. at Keswick, it is Pastor Bill.
Praying that our mighty Lord will see fit to restore Pastor Bill to good health that he may continue to minister until Jesus comes.

Dear Raws family,
I first met Pastor Bill when he presented to the new colony guys a two-part historical review of America's Keswick, which gave us an appreciation of how the hand of God has worked throughout the life of the ministry. To learn that the man giving us the history lesson was the founder's grandson added to the impact.
Pastor Bill, it was always good to shake your hand after church and to see your eyes looking right into mine, knowing that your smile was real. You encouraged us then and you are showing us all how to finish well - may Christ Jesus be lifted up! The Mercer's.

Dear Pastor Bill, Ruth and girls,

I want you to know that I am praying and that my church is praying too. We are praying for strength and comfort for each of you and for full recovery for Pastor Bill. You are all on the hearts and minds of so many whose lives have been impacted for the Kingdom of God through Pastor Bill and your family and through America's Keswick. I am sending lots of love. I am grateful for your kindness, your love and your witness.

Much love in Jesus,
Candy Moffett Peterson

Ongoing prayers from your extended family here at Keswick. I shared the update at dinner with our children & it brought tears to my eyes as both the boys prayed for Pastor Bill at bedtime. We love you all and are continuing to pray for strength, wisdom, direction and peace!
Love,
Brian, Donna, Jesslyn, Julia, Joel & Jeremy
