Monday evening update

There was no information to report today. As of 5:00 PM, the Neurologist had still not read the results.

Pastor Bill will be transferred tonight to the "Specialty Hospital" which is on the fourth floor. This is the rehabilitation area where they will be able to start doing some mild physical therapy on his arms and legs.

His breathing was a little better today off the vent. The big prayer request is that he would be totally weaned from the vent so that he could be moved to The Pines at Whiting.

Your comments on the blog and prayers are appreciated.

Lift up my eyes unto the hills,
From whence comes my [our] help?
It comes from the LORD,
Maker of heaven and earth.

Dear Pastor Bill,
I've been checking your blog everyday since I heard you were ill. You have always been an inspiration to our family and you're always one of the first faces I look forward to seeing when I'm at Keswick. I want you to know we're praying for you daily. I've always enjoyed your company and your sermons. Praying for your recovery.
With love, Kim and Frank Murawski

"God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
....The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our stronghold." Ps. 46: 1, 11
May you know His presence...

Love and prayers,

While I don't know you personally, I want you to know that I have lifted you and your family up in prayer as the Lord has laid it on my heart. I have been blessed by the ministry of Keswick for many years and more recently at the monthly hymnsings where Pastor Raws gave the short devotionals that were "right on target." He has been used mightily by the Lord and I am sure his heart's desire is to continue in the ministry if the Lord allows it. If not, surely we all will rejoice as he is welcomed home. EIther way, he is a winner.

An excerpt from Max Lucado's book, "When God Whispers Your Name", 1 Timothy 1:19. I sit a few feet from a man on death row. Jewish by birth. tentmaker by trade. Apostle by calling. His days are marked. I'm curious about what bolsters this man as he nears his execution. So I ask some questions.
Do you have family, Paul? I have none.
What about your health? My body is beaten and tired...
Any awards? Not on earth.
Then what do you have, Paul? No belongings. No family...
What do you have that matters?
I HAVE MY FAITH. IT'S ALL I HAVE. BUT IT'S ALL I NEED. I HAVE KEPT THE FAITH.
Paul leans back against the wall of his cell and SMILES.
You have kept the Faith for many years and we know that God will answer the prayers on your behalf.
Love and Prayers, Jim and Carol Ann
