Update for Monday Evening June 16, 2008

Pastor Bill Raws was admitted to the hospital on Friday due to an infection. Around 4:00 AM he experienced some breathing difficulties and was admitted to ICU.

He has a strep infection that is affecting his kidneys and also causing some breathing difficulties. He is very weak.

We would appreciate your prayers for Pastor Bill's recovery and for strength f0r his dear wife, Ruth.

We will update the blog as information is available. Rather than phone America's KESWICK for information, we want to encourage you to visit the blog as often as possible. You can access the blog through our website @ www.americaskeswick.org.

To write a word of encouragement to Pastor Bill and Ruth, simply respond to any blog posting.

Thanks for your prayers.

Pastor Bill, I'm praying that you will get over and through this infection very soon so you can be back with us doing what you do to the glory of God.
Ruth, knowing how your body is already weak, I pray that God would grace you with all the strength you need to be there for Pastor Bill.
Hugs and blessing to you both.

Dear Bill and Ruth,

Having been down this road I think I know somewhat of what you are expericeing. I'm praying for you, Bill, ...for strength, peace and full recovery... for you, Ruth,...for strength to support Bill and to be there for him. You are both important to me...have been for years.

I'm also praying for the doctors...for wisdom to use their knowledge and experience for right conclusions that will help Bill recover.

Praying that the Lord will uphold you with His everlasting arms as you rest in the hollow of His hands.

Lovingly
Mary Ella

I heard Pastor Raws speak at church a few weeks ago, the first time I went to the Chapel. Afterwards, I told him he reminded me of my missionary grandfather, a man whom I have only begun to appreciate lately, some forty-five years after his death. Pastor Raws's message was powerful in the Lord and I pray for him with all my heart. The Lord has used him in a powerful way.
