Thursday afternoon update

The procedure to wean the ventilator off was unsuccessful. The next step will be to do a vent through a trach. The procedure will be scheduled some time over awake the next few days. The vent trach will enable Pastor Bill to be awake. While this could be a step that will be long term, the doctors did indicate it could be reversible given Pastor Bill's good health prior to his recent illness.

Thanks for praying.

I am sorry to hear see report. However, if Pastor Bill can be awake and interactive and have more movement it may expedite his recovery.

Still praying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have called friends of Keswick who may not be in the information loop to inform them and to request prayer for you all.

My heart is breaking. I hate to hear of any suffering that Pastor Bill may experience. I ask God regularly for mercy and comfort and healing. For Ruth and the girls I pray that you continue to hold on closely to one another and to our God. In spite of our "humanness" we must trust Him as we know He remains in charge of all things.

Bill W,
Thank you for the updates on the blog. It is good to be able to check in on how Pastor Raws is doing at any hour and to be able to pray accordingly. Please know that we are still in prayer for your family also.
Raws Family,
It saddens me deeply to know that Pastor Raws is going through such a difficult time. I know that it is so much harder for you all as you care for him. I am so thankful that the "girls" are able to be there...what a blessing!! Matthew has also told me that he has seen many of the grandchildren around. Pastor and Ruth, you have blessed us so much over the years! Please know that Mike and I are praying for God's will and for you all to feel His loving arms around you at this time.
With much love,

We continue to pray for you and send our love for you and your family.
