Saturday morning update

Pastor Bill had a restful night. They are hoping to back down the oxygen levels today, so please pray that he will be able to tolerate the lower amounts.

Several folks have called and asked about visiting him. I would suggest that you hold off on visits until things stabalize. He is heavily sedated, so he would not be able to communicate with you.

Your blog comments are a huge encouragement to the family, but if you'd like to send a card, you can mail your card to:

Thanks for your partnership with the Raws family.

Good Morning Pastor Bill and Ruth,
Blogging to let you know you are in our thoughts this warm, bright and sun shiny morning.
Sesk and I just finished praying for you, seeking the Lord for His handing of healing in your physical body right now, and asking Him to comfort the hearts of those who love you so much as I know it is difficult for them to see you down.

The morning is already beautiful and warm and the view of the lake from my office is beautiful, as always. The water is still, with shimmers of light winking occasionally as if kissed by the sun.
I hope you get to see it for yourself again real soon.
You are loved and your presence is missed.
Blessings to you and all in Jesus name.

Dear Pastor Bill and Ruth,

I was in New Orleans on a Post Katrina mission trip with a group from our church when I received word that Pastor Bill was ill. Our group paused immediately and prayed for him and for all of the Raws family. I arrived home late last night. I am praying for you today....

My deep love and respect for America's Keswick and the Colony of Mercy is rooted in my respect and admiration for Bill Raws and the Raws family. Only eternity will reveal the impact of Keswick conferences and the Colony of Mercy. I am so grateful for these past eleven years and for the time we have had together as I have come up to preach in the Family conferences. Pastor Bill rarely missed a service. Our conversations are always edifying.

I look forward to being at America's Keswick in a few weeks and I am anticipating seeing you, Pastor Bill and Ruth.

Please know of my continued prayers for you.

My thanks to Bill Welte for the blog and IPA. Communication to those who love you all and who pray for you is execellent and so helpful.

With Much Love and Prayers,
Roger Willmore

I am very sure that my prayers for you are completely selfish. I need more time to learn from you Pastor Bill. I am praying for God's mercy and comfort to you. He has fearfully and wonderfully made us and can equip your doctors on your behalf. He can clear all infection and restore you and I have asked Him to do just that.
Ruth, may God keep you in perfect peace as you stand by Pastor Bill's side.

Dear Ones,

I pray that you sense the peace that Bill is feeling. He knows that his life is in God's hands -- that he is His forever and that God is with him all the way.

Bill has taught you how to love the Lord, and he knows that special relationship will continue forever. He has taught you to depend upon Him when you don't understand.

You feel anxiety and grief in his illness; it is said that is the price we pay for love. But Bill would want you to remember that the love we put into life for others is what results in the blessings of life. And he is abundantly blessed .... as are you.

Holding you close in prayer,
Nancy
